It was a surprise for the girls. The moment we received the shipment, I called them all to come see what we got in the mail. After we visited Israel this past summer, their connection to Israel became even stronger. The girls were so excited to receive such special necklaces that connect them to Israel. This necklace was handmade by a friend, and it holds deep meaning for me. The symbol is the Hebrew letter Mem, pronounced “M.” Hebrew is the language of Jesus, and my faith is very close to my heart. Mem is also the first letter of my name — Maranda — which makes this piece even more personal.
